Tansy Las Climas Vineyard Falanghina 2023

Tansy Las Climas Vineyard Falanghina 2023
Tansy was founded in 2020 between friends Shelley Lindgren (of A16), and Kitty Oestlien over a meal discussing the possibilities of Italian grape varieties in California. United by an eagerness to realize this vision together, Shelley and Lindgren established this wine brand as a women owned/made label, with a focus on community and sustainable farming.
This single vineyard Falanghina comes from the Las Climas Vineyard in the Russian River Valley, off a very small, single acre planting at Rancho Coda. The vines here are situated atop a steep hillside, struggling for the nutrients they need, producing grapes with distinct flavor and minerality. Upon arriving at the winery, grapes were directly pressed with the stems intact, and natively fermented in a combination of stainless steel and neutral french oak.
This is the perfect white wine to savor and enjoy as an aperitivo or with your favorite appetizers with friends.
