Gamay
Gamay is nearly synonymous with Beaujolais, but enthusiasts (and a good number of today's top somms) will tell you that this grape's virtues do not end in that famous spot between Burgundy and the Rhône. In fact, Gamay is grown in plenty of our favorite new and old world sites, from the Loire Valley to Sonoma County. So keep your eyes on Beaujolais, of course, but test the waters elsewhere with this selection of Gamay-based wines from around the world.
