100% Chardonnay from 'William Hines' Vineyard in the cool climate Sta. Rita Hills. Planted in 2017, the vineyard sits on a unique north-facing site at the northeastern edge of the appellation and is one of the few in the appellation to be planted on limestone. This wine undergoes indigenous yeast fermentation in a combination of 1500L foudré and 500L barrels, and then is aged for 10 months on fine lees in 25% new oak, followed by an additional 8 months in stainless steel.
