Italian Masterclass with Bobby Stuckey, MS - Friday, February 20th, 4:30-6:00pm PT
Join us for an intimate, seated seminar on Friday, February 20th, featuring Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey and the debut of newly stateside Sardinian producer Vike Vike.
Bobby Stuckey is one of the most influential figures in American wine and we are honored to have him join us at Verve. Among his many accomplishments, he is the co-founder of Frasca Food and Wine in Boulder, a benchmark for Italian hospitality in the U.S. and the recipient of the James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurant, as well as the Julia Child Award recognizing his lasting impact on American cuisine. He is especially recognized for his depth of knowledge in Italian wine.
Based in northwest Sardegna, Vike Vike focuses on native grape varieties shaped by the island’s rugged Mediterranean climate and coastal influence. This tasting features the rare, textured Granazza Bianco 2024 alongside the Ghirada Fittiloghe 2021, a soulful expression of Cannonau (Grenache) that balances warmth, spice, and savory depth.
Join us for this rare opportunity to taste these wines before their wider release. The seminar will also include a look into Stuckey’s broader portfolio, featuring select benchmarks, offering context into Stuckey's sourcing philosophy.
