Founded in 1570, Château de Parenchère lies on Bordeaux’s eastern frontier near the Dordogne river. Its 60+ hectares of hillside vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soils, farmed organically and vinified plot by plot. Long known as a benchmark for value, Parenchère proves that Bordeaux Supérieur can deliver value and pedigree. Cuvée Raphaël, named for the family member who revived the estate in 1958, is the flagship: old-vine Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon, selected from the best parcels and aged in French oak. The wine balances blackberry and cassis with cedar and tobacco, framed by fine tannins and bright acidity.
