Les Perrières is the newest project from the Guinaudeau family—producers of Château Lafleur—founded in 2018 to explore Bouchet (cabernet franc) on fossil-rich limestone in Fronsac. This vintage stands out for its balance of lift and breadth, with plushness and support from merlot. Hand-harvested fruit undergoes gentle maceration in stainless steel and concrete before early-winter blending and 15 months of aging in barriques (30% new). Ideal alongside charcoal-grilled lamb, mushroom dishes, or served with a slight chill to highlight its mineral tension.
