Founded in 2015 by Baja native Mauricio Ruiz Cantú, Dominio de las Abejas’ philosophy is simple: wild, sustainable vineyards with CCOF organic certification and minimal intervention winemaking. Native fermentations are done without corrections, clarification, or refining. Thoughtfully named “Domain of the Bees,” the winery honors the vital role of wild pollinators in maintaining biodiversity and a sustainable vineyard ecosystem.
This field blend of 64% grenache and 36% nero d’avola is full of luscious red and black fruits, supported by a high-toned note of structure that gives it a slightly more serious tone. Consider pairing with mole rojo chicken or slow roasted pork tacos.
