Founded in 2015 by Baja native Mauricio Ruiz Cantú, Dominio de las Abejas’ philosophy is simple: wild, sustainable vineyards with CCOF organic certification and minimal intervention winemaking. Native fermentations are done without corrections, clarification, or refining. Thoughtfully named “Domain of the Bees,” the winery honors the vital role of wild pollinators in maintaining biodiversity and a sustainable vineyard ecosystem.
A Baja interpretation of Italy’s noble grape, this Nebbiolo balances power and poise. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in neutral oak, it’s less austere than its Piedmont cousins.
