Domaine du Trapadis is a fourth-generation, organically farmed Rasteau estate led by Helen Durand. This southern Rhône red is a blend of grenache, carignan, and mourvèdre vines (some over 60 years old) sit on clay-limestone soils. The grapes are harvested by hand, and fermented with native yeasts in concrete vats, then aged for 20 months in a mix of amphora and old barrels on the lees. Pair with herb-roasted lamb and other rustic savory fare.
