Following in Chauvet’s footsteps, this ‘Gang of Four’ member has been farming his Beaujolais based vines as naturally as possible. Organic farming, zero use of pesticides, and no added sulfur allow for the rustic, spicy character of the wine to shine. The 2016 Côte de Brouilly is succulent and bright, full of energetic notes of bramble, dark berries, blood orange, and spice. Nervy yet silky, with a smoke-tinged, earth driven finish. Delightful!
