The Boudins have been advocates of ‘barrel-free Chablis’ for over three generations. Ironically enough, Adhemar Boudin’s grandfather was a cooper; however, he hated the noise and smells so much, that upon founding the estate, decided to keep it as far away from the program as possible. ‘Chantemerle’ is whole cluster pressed and spontaneously fermented, creating a steely, citrus-driven wine full of lemon, white flower, and wet rock flavors.
