This duo of self-proclaimed ‘Garnachistas’ focuses on single-vineyard Grenache from rugged mountain top vineyards across Sierra de Gredos. Fruit for ‘Rumbo al Norte’ comes from high elevation organic/biodynamic vineyards situated at 1200 meters above sea level. After spontaneous fermentation and a 40-60 day maceration, the wine ages for 12 months in large French oak barrels. This is one of Comando G’s most coveted parcels.
