Bruno Rocca is a boutique, family-run winery of about 12.5 hectares of vineyards in Barbaresco and Neive. In the cellar, they only select casks that have been seasoned for a minimum of 40 months, dried in the open air without mechanical means, and are suited to enhancing the natural evolution of their wines. Only native yeasts are used during fermentation. Clay and limestone soils are essential to cultivate a vineyard of Nebbiolo grapes for Barbaresco. This wine is characterized by an intense garnet color and aromas of black cherry and roses. The 2019 is surprisingly fresh, but the wine will only improve with time. Cellar for 5-10 years.
