This bright and balanced single-vineyard Pinot was vinified with ⅔ whole clusters and shows notes of red fruit, cranberries, and savory spice. ‘Les Mitans’ yielded nearly double the amount of fruit it usually bears in 2017, though quality was not at all sacrificed. The wine is rather tight in its youth though is certain to develop beautifully. We’d revisit in 5-8 years.
