Regarded as Piedmont’s greatest producer of Barolo, Giacomo Conterno founded the estate in the early 20th century, producing world class Nebbiolo from 16 hectares in Serralunga d’Alba. This varietal Barbera comes from ‘Cerretta's’ 20 year old vines rooted in clay soils. The 2014 is dark fruited and smoky, oozing with citrus undertones and a lingering finish.
