Clusel-Roch
Clusel-Roch may be small, but their holdings (and wines) are nothing short of fierce. The family’s 3.5 hectares are dedicated to Serine, a low-yielding clone of Syrah. The Clusel-Rochs were amongst the first organic farmers in Côte-Rôtie, and all work at the domaine is done by hand. These wines are classic Côte-Rôtie: meaty, peppery, and loaded with flavors of scorched earth. For ageworthy, soil-driven juice from some of the regions best (and steepest) hillsides, look no further than this juice.
