Created in 1975 by the legendary Jean-Francois Coche, Domaine Coche-Dury is now headed by JF’s son, Raphael, and his wife Christine; known for their old-school style and traditional winemaking techniques, the duo maintains the family’s original style farming nine hectares of vines across six communes in Burgundy. Their Volnay is destemmed and ‘softly’ vinified, allowing delicate, red fruit flavors and earth-driven minerality to dominate.
