Ronco del Gnemiz was established in the 1960s by the Palazzolo family, situated on the top of the hill of Rosazzo in Friuli. Clay and limestone-rich soils allow fruit to optimally ripen, while Adriatic breezes and mountain influence from the Alps keeps acidity high. ‘Salici’ is 100% Sauvignon Blanc, from a low-yielding vineyard of about 30 years old. Made with whole cluster press and fermented with no malolactic or lees stirring. We love the pale orchard fruit notes dressed in savory herbal character. A delight with fresh salads and spring produce.
