Marcel Lapierre has been pioneering the natural wine movement in Beaujolais since the 1980s and is dubbed one-fourth of Kermit Lynch’s renowned ‘Gang of Four.’ Since his tragic passing in 2010, Marcel’s vision is carried on by his two children, who continue to make honest wines via organic and biodynamic farming. ‘Cuvée N’ is a no-sulfur added varietal Gamay from one of Morgon’s greatest estates. The wine is aromatic and lively, marked by flavors of cherries, cranberries, and rose petals. Fleshy and balanced, this easy-drinking yet serious wine is almost too easy to throw back!
